There are loads of different IT, IET and even Kevlar IT.
They all perform differently for different situations... thicker IET is better for gaffing cards with 'sprung flaps' for instance, but it's pants for effects which need it to be invisible.
Wheras, Kevlar IT is better for moving heavy objects—such as PK effects and making things fall off tables etc., and regular 'spiderweb' IT is much better for floating items such as banknotes right under a spectators' nose.
THEN... you come onto reels... which are absolutely great if you have a specific purpose in mind for them, such as the famous 'self-tightening nut & bolt' trick etc.
Really, it's quite hard to choose one which is a jack of all trades.
I've handled just about every type of IT on the market (and stock a few too) and if you want any advice, just drop me a PM.
