Beard's Magic Challenge - Challenge 2

Postby Beardy » Jun 5th, '08, 12:51

I have a few bits and bobs confined to my magic drawer...now decided to pass them on!

However, you must be worthy!

Each time there shall be a challenge, and whoever wins...wins!

Couple of rules:

1) Only available to UK residents as I'll be paying postage...and US (e.t.c) residents can enter, but you would have to pay postage. It's not much as a prize though, so now sure if you believe it shall be worth it :P

2) I'm only going to use standard postage..no recorded delivary malarky, as it is coming out of my own pocket

3) Only one entry per participant per challenge

4) Late entries shall be only accepted should I not have announced the answer on time

5) If you don't like my ruling...tough :P

6) Minimum of 100 posts per entrant, to prove you ain't just joined for my amazing prize :P

7) All bribery is considered

Righteyho:

*ahem*

CHALLENGE 1: I am thinking of a whole number between 1 and 1000. The entrant who gets the closest to this number without going over it wins.

PRIZE - a yellow force band (similar to those bands that you wear around your wrist for charities) - has 5 of clubs and 6 of hearts (reversible)

MINOR RULES:

If somebody else has already guessed a number, you cannot guess the same number - choose a different one.

All guesses must be made in this thread - no PMs

All entries must be received before Derren Brown, Trick or Treat begins tomorrow night. Winner shall be announced after I have watched it :P

I'm trying to link the challenge to the prize...this is a mentalism prize, so a mentalism challenge it is! :D

Let the games begin!

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

I like the idea here, I'm reminded of my little effort that was "the giving thread"

I have spotted a flaw in this here little competition...

Beardy states that he is thinking of a number between one and whatever - this implies that Beardykins has the ability to think!

I reckon the number is 4 - the number that matches the tv channel that Beard's god has his telly program on.

PS - if I am right can I not have the prize as it sounds really c*** (not the best).

Thankyou :P
