Was there really once 562 users online at one time? Or was it just some technical issue that led it to believe there was?
I rarely see over 60 or 70, including guests.

It may have been something to do with a link from another website. I once had a website that was lucky enough to be Steve Wright's website of the day so was featured on his programme and on the Radio 2 website. For a day or two I had one of the most popular websites in the UK. Then it was back to normal.

It was a site that didn't sell anything. It was just a hobby really. I don't think Steve Wright features commercial sites - I may be wrong though. So I sadly didn't make any money out of it.

I think that happened before some anti-robot coding was added to the site; we had quite a spate of junk messages for a while.
