I'm not liking how easy it would be to get kicked in the nards...

But I do love the fact they've got a junior league... "Pee Wee Shin Kicking"

i thought some of you guys were hardened martial artists, (mio tie) kickboxers shinkick trees in there practice and would,nt need straw padding.
any half decent judoka would have a great advantage anyway youv'e not had a good session if you havan't broken a leg.

Yes, Muay Thai practitioners train by killing nerve endings along their shins.

What they forget to incorporate into their training is keeping upright on bloomin' wet Gloustershire marshes.

Indeed, Judo-kai practice getting a feel for their opponents centre of gravity, and position above their anchor points, in order to use that distribution of weight to their advantage.

What they for get to practice is keeping their own balance on bloomin' wet Gloustershire marshes.

hehehe.

When I was in my teens my friend and I thought it would be a good idea to 'condition' our legs whilst doing our Thai training.

We copied the 'kickboxer' films and we did actually kick trees and each others shins and rub metal bars vigorously up and down the shins..

Yes, my shins are conditioned.. and yes.. the bones inside are probably broken and theres a good chance authoritis will catch up on me or something similar as a direct result of foolishly kicking trees and brick walls

if the charming lomster ever got to kick my shins, i doubt if i'd ever walk again the amount of times i've cheeked her on here...

im in a very good mood at the moment, an outlaw delivery turned up today, i've had a little gig go very well...tomo won his awards, spent the rest of the evening in charming company and had a few drinks...

i've just finished the evening off with eating an eclair in bed... :?
