Help needed - drawstring change bag

Postby philipsw » Jun 11th, '08, 14:06

Hello all. I wonder if anyone knows of a supplier of a drawstring change bag. I have had a quick search on the net but not been able to find anything. I am looking for something that looks a bit like the bag that Scrabble letters come in but with a little extra :-)

(Guess who is really enjoying reading Prism at the moment...)

Thanks. Phil

I realise I could probably just buy a real Scrabble bag and gaff it myself, but I am trying to avoid sewing if anyone knows of any alternatives!

due to the two main ways a flat change bag is worked a drawstring would be dificult, one way round this would be to have two drawstring bags inside each other, draw both tougether then open just the outside one.

Black Hart sells one. It's got a pentagram on it, which probably isn't ideal, but you might be able to unpick it if that's an issue.

Thanks for those thoughts. The Black Hart one looks good, but wouldn't suit the trick.

I liked your thoughts discoman. I think, for the way I will be using it, the drawstring can operate above the level of the gaff (if you see what I mean - trying to avoid exposure!) although getting a 'natural' handling of the bag might be quite difficult...

If it's due to the pentagram it might be worth dropping him a line to see if it's possible to have one set aside before the next batch gets the pentagram added on.

It may not work depending on how they are produced, but from my experience most dealers will try to go to reasonable lengths to help a customer if they are polite about it.

Sadly, there's no picture, but it's allegedly what you're after.

I'll give you a clue to the answer: BLACK Artefacts is the company and I am The BLACK Hart. :)

Yup, only available in BLACK.
