Street Magic by Paul Zennon.

First off, this book is mainly for the newbie in magic, although, if you specialise in other areas of magic besides the street type, then this is the book for you.

It is a very colourful and wondrously clear book giving clear directions on 50+ street magic tricks. I'll admit that some of them weren’t exactly new, but there are some real gems to be found by the new person to magic.

It's not all about street magic either; some of the effects are so flexible that they can be performed in front of a live audience in a theatre. (As demonstrated by myself with the trick "out of this world" at the very back of the book).

Overall, I believe that this book is well worth the small price printed on the back page and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone with an interest in street magic or any newcomers to magic!

Anyone else read it?

Yeah I read it, I had it for x'mas from a relative.

I agree it is for the new comer to magic, I didn't pick up anything new really, but I did like the floating card effect, I've actually never seen that before

But the book looks good on my shelf :D

But great for newbie

Already a decent and substantial review here:

Use the search function before posting! In fact, better to type "Paul Zenon talkmagic" into google, much quicker.

I have the book, it's okay, he tries to teach some basic card handling which I don't like, just not worth it.

"I want to do magic...but I don't want to be referred to as a magician." - A layman chatting to me about magic.
