Hello,

I am from a small magical video production company based in South Yorkshire, UK.

We are looking for a young (18 - 35) year old magician to be the star of our new website and DVD products.

Our plan is to put together a new website based around one concept related to magic, you will be the star of the website, videos and products.

You need to be confident, a good speaker, and of course a good magical entertainer. It would help if you had experience performing at a pro level before.

If you are interested please respond to this post with your email address or pm me. It would be an advantage if you already had a video of you performing that you can show us.

Thank you everyone

Regards,
BZB

Is it possible that you could explain why you want other people t put their email details here, when you seem reluctant to leave yours here?

What is the name of the production company?

Although you are asking for people for a new magic website, I presume that as a production company, you have a website for that at present.

I can't see a production company getting a magic related website going before they have a website for their own company.

A link for the above and the email address for people to contact you may be a better idea than the little information you have given, asking people to post their email address here for you.

A Google search for BZB productions yields little.

Regreattably we've had messages in similar vein before which turn out to be less than worthy. Whilst we're not suggesting that this is the case here, it would have been appreciated if more details had been provided. A Hotmail e-mail address isn't very reassuring either. Anyone thinking of responding to this needs to be very sure of the situation before making any commitments. We’ll give it 24 hours and if no further information is provided then we’ll move or delete this thread.

Sorry guys,

Right let me put another way....

My name is Zain and I am a website designer / internet marketer from South Yorkshire who works full time.

My close friend Chris Is a video production student from South Yorkshire.

We have both been interested in magic for many years, since we were kids and we have been coming up with ideas and have a new concept of how to combine our interests and skills to make money from our magic.

The only problem is that both of us are pretty bad performers lol so we decided we would look for a talented magician pref from the north of england who could work with us on our ideas and make us all some decent money as a sideline.

We are not a registered company, there is no need to right now. So you wont find any website about us etc...

As for payment, we would be looking to split the profits we make from our combined magic, website development, internet marketing and video production skills.

I guess it would be 1/3 each.

so basically you are looking for someone to come up with methods for these 'ideas' you have, share the methods with you in the hope that you'll get some credit for the performance videos that go up on the website and make money from them.

www.youtube.com/brum2redmagic !! Youtube Project started.. early days

Reading: Nothing right now
Studying: loving band redemption
Performing: Speechless, Stand up Monte, Coinvexed,

Have you ever wanted to STAR in your own magic DVDs? You know, like Sankey, Christian, Houchin, Parker etc.

Well ladies and gentleman... here's your chance.

It is not yet clear if you will need to perform then explain bzbprods' ideas on the DVD, or bring your own ideas with you, or both. You will perform, Chris will shoot the movies and Zain will set up the web site to sell the DVDs.

Providing (after you meet Zain and Chris) you decide you are comfortable that you will get paid your share, and providing you don't need to put any money up front (you bring the talent remember...) what have you got to lose?

Worth keeping in mind it is a very well serviced market you are trying to break into so without a "point of difference" it will be tough work to make any money.

Hope it works out.

I am not saying that this is faud or phoney or malicious in any way, but after spending many yrs in the banking industry and helping people get out from under after being scammed I feel obliged to say be very, very careful if you decide to persue this. This is not the tact a reputable production company would usually take, but times they are a changing. There is very little information given, Zain and Chris is not information.

If you really feel the need to check this out do not give out any personal information. First get full names, phone numbers address's and check them out. If this is legit and they are offering 1/3 profits basically a partnership make sure you see a business plan and full disclosure, bank accounts contracts business license the whole nine yards. Talk to a lawyer and don't give anyone a dime before you have all the information and it is information you have confirmed.

Im interested in this, I have done a similar thing myself in the past when i worked for a new production company, and the amount of grief we got!

However if someone had not of finally voluteered we would not have been as successful as we were!

Although the above sounds like a bit of an idea that grew from some students late one night trying to find a way to pay off their loans using their uni skills....

I would be more than happy to take this by the reigns and lead you to success, however as the above post says, I would wont legal contract drawn up stating I would get a cut etc..........

Cheers

magic mark... like my post said we are looking for somebody who will work with us for a % of all profits. and seen as we would have to pay tax on this if it all got going there would have to be some sort of legal agreements or contracts made to say who gets what.

magic chris... i am interested in contacting with you, if you message me your msn or skype or something we can talk about it some more
