advice for magicians

Postby Alan Jackson » Jul 30th, '04, 13:09

I'd like to recommend this site as a source of advice for magicians.
http://www.ianrowland.com/
Ian Rowland is a British magician, mindreader, and the cold reading expert.
Go to <magicians only> answer the simple question and then <advice>.
Ian introduces this section by explaining that he occasionally gets emails asking for advice and so, rather than type out the same replies every time, he created this page. He introduces it with these words:
"This is the first point to get straight. I'm flattered that anyone should seek my opinion on anything, but I have never claimed to have much advice worth giving. On this page is all the stuff I could think of that might be worth offering. But I don't claim any of it is worth reading. You might decide it's all rubbish. Fine by me."

Trust me: it's not rubbish.

Thank you, Alan. I agree with everything you've said in your post, after having a look at the site.

Mike.

The same site http://www.ianrowland.com/ has a fascinating set of links to other sites. Just click on the links button. I guarantee you will find some gems (not all magic-related) that you won't have come across before.
