Hi,

You may have misread this - I am not selling this; I'm offerung to GIVE it to the guy who started this thread.

This is a legitimate original edition not a copy and I was merely trying to help someone out.

If this offends anyone then I'll put it on ebay, get a couple of quid for it and deprive a fellow enthusiast on this forum from gaining a small benefit.

I doubt that there are many people on here who haven't either bought or sold items on ebay, magic week or somewhere similar and so I really don't understand the problem.

There isn't a problem, it's just TM policy and whatever happens elsewhere isn't relevant here - if you check the rules and regs regarding videos, DVD, books and similar instructional only items you'll see we don't permit the trade of them which includes swapping or giving away. Whether money changes hands or not isn’t the issue so when

he's basically correct. There are many previous posts and discussions over why this policy is in place so we don’t need to go into details all over again but, whereas your offer was no doubt made in the right spirit, Henry’s reply was also quite factual. If you want to sell it elsewhere that would be your choice of course.

Yes I second the recommendation of the Daryl DVD. There's more on there than you could ever use.

Daryl's ACR is a huge 12 minutes long and it is fantastic. Check it out... I actually think it's on Youtube (legitimately, as L&L publicity) but I can't post a link here since I'm at work  .

I think every card magician must have an ACR. It takes a while before you can improvise around it, but it's worth the time and patience.

WOW!

I didn't realise the request for help with the ACR would cause such controversy!

Have tried the ACR as detailed in the RRTCM but wasn't comfortable with the shuffling aspects of the routine. The RRTCM routine also relies heavily on D/Ls which I really need to practice. Oddly, I find the exection of an undetectable p**s easier to achieve than an undetectable D/L! More practice with my D/Ls methinks!

Would appreciate some suggestions for the best souces of the Daryl DVD.

Thanks,

TomDom

I quite often combine the two. You can legitimately place thier selection into the middle and then perform a cover pass and you're set up for your next reveal already ;)

The best thing with the ACR is to get together as many different versions as you can and pick the bits you like from each of them. That's why I like the Worlds Greatest DVD so much, it gives you so many different performances from so many different magicians.

For my ACR, I use David Regal's story of the puppy dog, which I find great fun but the actual workings are taken from lots of different places.

Lovin' Your 'pic n mix' approach to the ACR Lady of Mystery!

Suits my style and approach to this sort of thing!

Thanks
