To suppliment David's review. I got this effect a couple of weeks ago and was performing it in my local pub the next day.

I have, and perform, very few packet tricks, but this is one well worth having.

My original concern after getting the effect was that the cards weren't examinable by the audience but having done this dozens of times no-one has asked to look at them.

In my book, this is worth the money.

Thanks to everyone on this thread for this recommendation. Its an absolutely brilliant trick.

I could see from the video before I bought it how it might be done but didn't have the wherewithal to make it up myself. I got it on Wednesday and it was exactly what I expected to get which was nice. I started performing it at a party last night about a dozen times to different people. It doesn't matter if your specs see it being done again and again for someone else because the outcome can be, and frequently is different. Its so easy to do. There is one very easy but totally natural looking 'move'. I just look the spec in the eye whilst I do it and this gives ample misdirection. You can have some great fun with the story line about queens and bodyguards or whatever comes into your head because you've got loads of scope to build up the storyline.

There are two 'Wow' moments; one of which happens when you turn over the cards in the specs hand, and it packs small. What else can one want in a trick! Worth every penny!

This is for me my favourite packet trick at the moment. It used to be twisted sisters (which I still perform), but this is so much more pratical for walkabout AND close up sessions.

The only reason I didnt reveiw it myself is that frankly it was too good to share. I wanted to be the only one performing it...

I always carry Entourage around with me, and although it is not used all the time in my close up set, I do use it for when I am asked for something extra as it works beautifully both at tables or as a walkabout piece.

So all in all I must have performed it hundreds of times by now, and up to last Saturdays gig I had never accidentally turned over the wrong card, after all it is far too easy to check before you execute the move. Right?

So you would think.

I don't know if it was just me being drained at the end of the evening or if I was just a little careless – but as I said "...and the card you merely thought of was the Queen of Diamonds" I looked down and saw that in fact I had turned over the "Queen of Clubs".

As it happens I feel I coped with the situation pretty well.

I immediately said "Well don’t look at me – He picked the card!" (I always use two spectators, one to think of the queen and one to point to the card they think the other person is thinking of. This got a good laugh during which I turned the queen back over (reversing the original move) and placed the cards back down on the table.

I then said "To be honest he didn't do too bad, because if you look at these cards, he picked the only one that was actually a queen." – at which point I showed the three tabled jokers.

Which got the first gasp.

I then picked up the two jokers and face down queen again (this time having corrected the mistake) and said – "which means he MUST have picked the card you thought of because that was the only queen I use".

And showed that in fact the card was the Queen of Diamonds after all.

Which got an even bigger gasp and a nice round of applause.

Now I am not saying that this is how I will perform the effect from now on. No siree. That would be crazy. But I am saying that as out's for a mistake go, this one went down pretty well.

So really. There is NOTHING that can go wrong with this effect. It is perfection.

After reading all the glowing reviews above I went against my C.U.P.S councillors advice not to buy any more magic and bought this and I must say I'm not disappointed.
It is very simple to perform and hits hard. My girlfriend who is very jaded with the whole magic "thing" was really taken aback by it.

I dont wont anyone else to buy this so it can be all mine, mine, MIINNNEE

I bought this only yesterday and it is indeed a strong effect. I know that I am going to wear this out quickly though so is there anywhere that I can buy the two "you know whats" ?

Also, my other favourite packet trick is Wild Card and has served me well over the past 12 years.

Just as a quick follow-up to whoever actually reads to the second page:

I have had Entourage on me almost every single day since I bought it, and believe I might have only forgotten it 3 days or so since my purchase of it. This is one of the tricks, just like WOW, that I NEVER take out of my business card holder (Actually the packet wallet that came with Strange Travellers, but Shhhhhh). It packs small, fits right with your business cards and wallet(s), and plays really big, and considering the fact that you (should) always have your business cards/wallet on you, you are never caught off-guard without a trick even if you forgot your cards/TT/Silks/Sub Trunk in your other pair of pants .

So basically, if you have not already boughten it, buy it. It is only $20, and I guarentee that you will use it at least once and will be very, very socked if you do not use it at least once or twice a week.

I saw greedo perform this and I loved the sexy black envelope it comes in really thats the only reason I got it.

Actually I realyl like it. One move and its not even that hard to do. I have changed the patter some what because I use at as a lead in to suggestion/hypnosis. I justfy the two fce up jokers by telling the spec this way its a lot easier to see the four cards and it is a lot harder to be infulanced when there is a pattern inturupted. (well it works for me).

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Got this recently (I'm always months or even years behind everyone else!) and it's excellent. Instruction booklet is very thorough and well illustrated with photos. This is a superb packet trick.

Hello All,

I second/Third/Fourth/Fifth everything which has been said above.

I also feel it right to mention that Christopher Williams has an 'Ungaffed Entourage' on his Bright ideas DVD - This has the same kicker and works a treat!!

I use the original with a M*****D D*** and ask the spec to choose one of the face down kings and mathc it to my face down Queens. A six way turn over and they show that they have matched up the pair correctly - Phase 1. The others int the packet were all Jokers - Phase 2. The Kings which they chose from were also all Jokers - Phase 3. A nice 5 minute routine with minimal effort!! :P 8) :P

recently picked this up in Blackpool, and while it isn't as good as NFW because you don't see the queens before hand, it's a very nice little trick, and I've had some great reactions doing it. I supose it would be easy enough to switch in an ungimmicked card at the end to have everything examined, but it's really not necessary. Highly recommended, and available from JB Magic for £13.95 if you haven't picked one up already.

In case anyone is interested, there is an ungaffed Entourage by Christopher Williams in Mindblasters.

Just got this, and it looks very nice indeed.

I, too, was a little miffed that the Queen's couldn't be displayed beforehand, before I realised that I had my wonderful Xchange Deck, laying idle.

Now I just scan through the Xchange, grab the 4 queens, get the specs to remove the jokers (which I leave in the box), and perform the exchange under their very noses.

...Although, in all fairness, I'm not 100% convinced that this adds a huge amount to the effect

I get round this simply by saying if you know which order the Queens are in by seeing them, then it defeats the purpose of the trick (to remove 3 of the Queens at random, leaving the spec's chosen Queen).

Most lay people accept that, the only ones I've had trouble with are my wife and close friends, who know better than to let me show them a card trick without them fully examining them first.
