The World Champion in Card Magic, FISM 2000, Henry Evans from Argentina will host a workshop/lecture 1. October 2008 in Iceland. There will be less than 20 people attending, so it's a fantastic opportunity to sit at the table and get first hand knowledge from the master.

The night after, 2. October, he will hold a show for the general audience, along with some members of The Guild of Icelandic Magicians.

If anybody is interested to join, please contact me through PM.

wow - well done Gunnar.

I just love the Henry Evans stand at blackpool. In fact I probably have just about everything he ever put out.

I would dearly love to see the lecture - and Iceland for that matter. It is unlikely though that I will be able to get there, but keep putting on lectures like that and I will be tempted...

well done indeed! I am proud owner of some Evans gear, which serves me very well indeed. Still love that train that finds the card :-)

I'm also the proud owner of a number of Henry's effects and I just love is work.

I had been having some difficulty with one of his routines for some time and I visited his stall at Blackpool and had a chat with him about it. He took me through the routine step by step until I nailed it.

There aren't many that would take the time out to do this at such a busy event and I remember being even more impressed.

I'm sure that you'll have a marvelous couple of evenings with him and I only wish I could get to Iceland

Yes, I agree. I met Mr. Evans in Blackpool this year and bought a few of his items, one of them what you mentioned Dr. Todd, the car that finds the card :)
I'm also the one that established contact with him and I have high hopes for the workshop, especially as there will be under 20 magicians attending. Everybody will have a first class seat and moreover, I think he's just such a happy and clever magician.

I made posters that we just got from the printers and now we are in the process of distributing and posting all around.
