On Monday July 7th, the Ipswich Magical Society will be hosting a lecture by the legendary Ali Bongo.
This will be the first Dennis Tubb memorial lecture in memory of Dennis Tubb, a long standing member of the society who sadly died last year.
If you are interested in attending what will no doubt be a lecture to remember for a very long time, please get in touch.

Just a reminder to those who may be interested, that this "epic" lecture, by one of magics genuine greats will take place tomorrow.
Everyone should see Ali Bongo live at least once in their lifetime.

I saw Ali Bongo live on a daily basis for months on end when we worked together in Hamleys. I am not sure the poor soul ever survived the experience properly.

I'm not sure anyone could.

Ali says to say hi. I'm not sure he's not sure how he ever survived the experience either...

In Hamleys Ali showed me a little trick with the svengali deck that has remained in my famous routine for nigh on 40 years. I bet he doesn't even know that!
His real name is William Wallace and he told me that he was descended from THE William Wallace the great Scottish hero. No wonder he used to wear those awful tartan jackets.

So he STILL wears those jackets! Some things don't change even after 45 years!
