What's everyone's favorite classic of magic? My favorite is ( I don't know how old it is but...) Prof. Nightmare, if that's not considered classic then...The Asrah Levitation, In my opinion it's a beautiful piece of magic IF performed right. Just curios thanks for reading.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I must admit I have a real soft spot for twisting the aces. It has a simple easy to follow plot, is incredibly visual and uses only the 4 aces

The Ambitious Card. Everyone's is different, you can improvise and audiences love it.

Every genre of magic has classics. For example the afore mentioned ambitious card, professor's nightmare, coins across, cups and balls. One of my favourite routines is a professor's nightmare that I end with linking rope rings, and then end up with just one long rope.

I like Triumph! And pretty much anything else by Vernon.

I would also rate professors nightmare as a classic of magic and it's one of my personal favourites but in my view it's shaved to the title by the chop cup.

I am also a big fan of the egg bag.

A good cut and restored rope is a must in almost any magician's repertoire.

Another classic that I like is Coins Thru Table. Sooo many options of techniques that all have the same effect. Wonderfully deceptive when used together.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

I love the good old fashioned ace assembly. So many versions inspired by such a simple premise- all 4 aces gathering in one pile.
But failing that, anything by Vernon- Triumph and twisting the aces being stand-outs at this point. :D

4 coins to a glass is awesome, so many variations, and a very nice trick!

Prof. Nightmare is a nice one as well, especially when you show them 3 roes the same size!

The Chinese Linking Rings. It sometimes gets boring for the audience unless you know how to perform it right. Although I find it fun to perform.

I like Ken Brooks Spot Card and Multiplying bottles. Both are classics and great comedy.
