There was a recent case where a couple were successfully sued for an accident on a bouncy castle that they hired for their kids birthday party. Another friend had a serious accident that left her brain damaged and the parents took the matter to court.
The main points were:
1) the supplier of the castle made recommendations that were not followed, mainly that there was a lack of control and there wasn't constant supervision.
2) the supplier also offered liability insurance but the parents thought it too expensive and didn't think that anything would happen. Home insurance didn't cover it.
I suppose that the morale is to do it properly or not at all. You may be able to Google this case as it was quite recent and was National news.
I very much doubt that your own liability insurance would cover this.
