I do not approve of e-books even though I have written one myself. I consider them to be against the laws of nature. Doesn't anyone under the age of 18 read real books any more?

Dearie me. The world is in a sorry state with all this technology bunkum.

Try lybrary.com They will fulfil your needs. but yes I agree with Mark. Ebooks are awful, even though I have one for sale myself (with Iain formerly Abraxus being my partner in crime). What I don't like is all the printing out so you can read it in the bath, and then all the pages go curly when they come into contact with steam. And try getting regular staples through a 100 page ebook. And try downloading the damned thing in the first place.

Far easier to pop into Waterstones. Except where my ebook is concerned. By all means buy that one. And Mark Lewis' too. But then stop there.

Not the age thing again. I am 17 but have read a large amount of magic books (real books).

I do agree they are better than DVDs and i am also sure that young magicians that respect magic have also read a lot of "real" books.

I have read alot of real books including mark wilsons complete course, bobos coin magic, and much more, so I dont like it when people say stuff about my age. ( Although I do understand what your trying to say, but I actually enjoy reading books, Matt )

I can never be bothered with ebooks, there's something about curling up in a cosy corner with a book on your lap, surrounded by coins, cards and spongeballs that you just can't get sat at a computer screen.

what do you mean "street ebooks"?

you don't mean that you want to learn tricks so you can wander down the lane and harass people with "wanna see something cool" do you?

if you really want to perform for people outside what you want to learn is "busking" or "street perfoming".

check out cellini's dvd's "the art of street performing" for a great resource.

If you like e-books and you have any interest in mentalism, you should seriously consider getting yourself a copy of Mind Blasters: England Goes Mental. Image

I don't really like paying for something like that where I don't get a nice hard copy in my hands. Same for CDs.

I broke my monitor trying to turn the bloody pages of an ebook.

Kidding of course.

I just can't buy ebooks, just can't do it.

The eBooks by Michael Close on Palming Cards are fantastic.
Video clips are embedded in the ebook and the quality is exceptional.

I used to be the same but all the e-books I've purchased recently have been excellent so I'm very happy so far: Paul Vigil's Diplopia, R. Paul Wilson's Fan-2-c and Mind Blasters.
