You will find it in both, the Tarbell and Mark Wilson Course in Magic books along side a plethora of young person's books on magic but we do not explain things here.

My suggestion is that you visit your local library and find their books on magic and magicians. I know it's not as "current" technology wise, as playing on the computer, but it's amazing what you can learn from such archaic devices. So take a deep breath and decide to do yourself a huge favor by jumping into the wonderful world of books.

HINT: They are where you will find ALL of our secrets

You can also find it, along with a lot of other tricks for beginners in the Larry Anderson's Jaw Droppers series.

I'm not sure the video link effect is taught in any beginner books, did either of you watch it?

Ok that was my fault for assuming. I thought is was the plain salt shaker through table trick. Boy was I wrong! That was sweet! I'm sure it would be hard to find and probably not very cheap.

 Me too... I didn't notice that there was some adjunct to it but then, our little friend will at least be able to find out how to make a Salt Shaker vanish and possibly how to use books in order to figure out the rest.

http://www.magicsteve.nl/ you could always ask him direct if he sells the effect or were you could get it from.

I might be wrong, but I think that particular effect might be a version of a very common magic prop. If I am right, it's not something you'll be doing in walk-around!

I don't know why, but I always find it extremely suspicious when you have to "cut" a video, while using only one camera. It indicates blatant video editing trick, using stooges, a la Chriss Angel, nothing else!

I believe the Japanese magician Cyril does the same effect.

That's not fair... Cyril is half-Demon e.g empowered by unearthly energies and cunning.

He's very good Craig. I thought both performances (links on this thread) were good. Interesting to be able to see the handling of the same effect by 2 performers. In terms of routining, the "convincer" with the coin building up to the salt shaker.
