His name was Kones, or Konez, or Conas, Or Konas, or Conez, or something like that.

He was a magician in the late 1700s. He was performing in France in 1795, the cups and balls. Ricky Jay makes reference to him in his cups and balls video, as having promise to make his wife, who was 5 foot 7, appear under one of the cups.

I am trying to find something that proves this guy existed. Does anyobyd know of a website that I might be able to look him up on?
