ACAAN

Postby magicmindben » Jul 18th, '08, 01:24

I tried coming up with a version, (I've always had a basic idea to how I think it's done) for the acaan. it turned out it doesn't work out as well a i shortly conceptualized it. As soon as i tried it out for myself, well, it just didn't work. All that to say,
where can i buy a book or explanation to how this is done. I mean, what is a good version of the trick. You can never tell by the description underneath when you see a manuscript or product.

Barrie Richardson's Impromptu Card at Any Number is a strong, workable piece that can be done with ANY deck (even borrowed). Do bear in mind this is actually a Card at Any Number - not an ANY Card at any number.

John Born has a book called Meant to Be is a book dedicated solely to this plot. I have not read it personally, but I've heard great things about it.

That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. If I think of more resources, I'll let you know.

There was a section in Magicseen a couple of issues back where there was a feature and they reviewed about 6 different methods.

Eddie Burke has a good version called "Card At Any Number - With a Borrowed Pack".

I should buy more from Mr Burke. He's getting on, not well and I like his stuff.

R P Wilson has ACAAN called Martini available for like $5 or something similar on his website. Pretty good.

I'm just heading there to pick that up now :) I might grab a few other pdfs, too, while Im at it. I've been wanting to start learning a version of an ACAAN for a while now.
