Bang On

Got this all set up the other day. I love the idea behind this but it's going to be interesting to see how it pans out. I think it's gonna take a bit of getting use to. Seige is right, you can perform this wearing just a jeans and T-Shirt but it's far from ideal. Will be a killer effect though!

14 page review here

.... it's now locked ao you can't add to it - funny though after reading your statement that Siege was the last person to post in there:

seige wrote:But... you can perform this effect just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. And still have room in pockets for TTs, decks of cards, etc.

i realised afterwards that thread was locked but had already posted it! thought it would confuse a few peeps!

it was a rather old thread but no harm in revisiting these things! besides, was brand new to me!!

I've been looking at this effect for months now. Each time I browse MagicBox I see it and it's calling to me.

Because of the price and because I'm not a working pro and because I'd look silly with a man's wallet up my jumper I won't be buying it. But it sure looks fabulous!

I would say unless you have a use for it don't bother.

I bought it and its sitting in the draw.

Its good but just not really that workable when I'm doing tables.

Also its a lot of money for the work you get from it!

Well wait till Blackpool,or another convention where Mr Oberon is. He'll probably have a deal on, or someone will.

Good point there, it's not particularly condusive to the colours and what a lady would carry around, but if you were in a suit and tie then it would pass. If you were in a jumper, then it's not a winner  .

she does make an excelent point. so many great effects relly on a special wallet.. which means ladies are not likely to do them.

but what is the alternative?

Mark was selling Bang On at a recent lecture for £50 new and I've seen a number of dealers with similar prices.

£40 isn't such an attractive price these days for a used copy and I still haven't opened mine other than to watch the DVD
