Differently Colored Double Backs

Postby Briareos » Jul 30th, '08, 11:09

A couple of days ago I was reminded what a great effect John Bannon's "Stranger's Gallery" actually is and thought I might try it too.

My problem: after searching for two hours on google I couldn't find a single retailer who sells the double backs. I found single color ones and red/blue cards but thats it. For the routine however I need three "one color/all different colors" DBs.
Does anyone know where to get those?

... and if not: What is your method to create your own DBs/special cards (if you do so)?

you know what. It would cost more to buy the individual cards, than to buy the effect from a dealer, complete with a set of cards.

If you can't find anyone locally, www.cards4magic.co.uk sell a full range of those special cards. The other firms who advertise on TM will probably be able to supply as well.

Sorry but I couldn't make out from your post if what you are looking for is a double sider that has a different colour on each side.

Anyway, if you want to consider having some custom cards made then look no further then cardmaker at http://www.magicbycardmaker.de/

I believe he wants three double-backed cards, all with the same back design but totalling six different colours. But I could be wrong.

No, actually I am looking for three doublebacks with one side all the same color and the other side all different. For example:
blue/yellow
blue/green
blue/black

Thanks for all the replies so far.

now that's cleared up

I think that you will have difficulty finding these cards unless as already stated, you buy them as part of a packaged trick.

Cardmaker will have no problem making them for you and I've used his services myself on a number of occasions. His work is fantastic.
