I hope you don't mind me joining you all for a bit here. Ive been reading, lurking and dabbling for a while now but not joined up. I'm a big magic fan, although I'm pretty useless myself! The only thing I can make disappear is my unwilling audience...
I came across a few newspaper article the other day about this new big talent spotting competition thats being run by a UK publicist. I thought it might be of interest to those of you who are further along the magic road than me!

He's looking for talented performers (of any kind) and the winner will receive 15 months of publicity/ PR representation. Its a big deal i think as he represents people like noel edmonds, van morrison, eddie izzard etc.
There'll be video booths set up in Borders Bookshops all over the UK where you can record your entry.

Where has this book been all my life.

I must be getting old and cynical, but I'm always highly suspicious of new users whose first post is way too chatty and has a link to a product that they've just discovered and may be highly useful to us.

Honestly. I con folk for a living. I'm not going to buy your stupid book.

Im not trying to sell the book at all, but I admit I AM trying to drum up interest in the competition. I found out yesterday that you can send in a video, you don't have to go to a bookshop. This is the link I should have posted, not the main page
