The Effect PREPARE to READ MINDS!

Peter Nardi’s Mind Spy is the most versatile utility item EVER manufactured!

After years on the drawing board the mind Spy has arrived with a bang!

You can use the mind spy to:

Peek at Writings,Drawings, Notes, Predictions!

Switch Objects!

Add A Number

Multi-Outs

Load Cards and billets directly into the ZIPPERED compartment with ease!

Includes routines by Richard Busch (author of Peek Performances), Paul Hallas, Colin Miller, Peter Nardi.

With Mind Spy you will not be performing magic tricks you will be performing mental miracles!

Cost £49.50 alakazam.co.uk

Difficulty 3/5
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review a well made real leather wallet that obviously has had a lot of thought put into it. As a peek device its great however i think the "card to wallet" would be a LOT trickier to pull off, although having said that the switching part is good

Overall would say it is overpriced and would advise looking for a used one on the trading forums but would rate it 8/10 for quality and ease of use

I've got one of these and basically agree with what has been said already.

I think there are better card-to-wallets out there than this, but it's nice to have that available in the same wallet as other utility devices.

It's also rather large and I tend to prefer using the Stealth wallet, also by Peter Nardi. I'd say the Mind Spy was more useful to a working performer than to someone who just does a few tricks now and then, but it's a nice piece of kit.

I never leave home without it. Apart from the obvious uses I have it pre-loaded with various bits a pieces. It's a veritable walking magic show all by itself...

I have to admit that I own and use both The Mind Spy and The Stealth wallets. Both are great bits of kit. The nice thing about the Stealth is that it fits nicely in a jeans pocket so is perfect for impromptu stuff but when on stage wearing a suit, the Mind Spy comes into it's own!!

Both heartily recommended

I have the stealth, how does the peek compare in the mindspy?

Ok well perhaps I'll try another angle. Which has the better peek?

How big is the mind spy perchance? I have quite large pockets in my jeans and am looking at one or the other of this and stealth.

Cheers

The MindSpy is about 15 cm tall by 10.5 cm wide. It really needs to go in a jacket pocket.

I've very rarely used mine. I've just bought a Stealth Assassin, which fits comfortably in my front trouser pocket and replaces my normal wallet, as it's designed to do. The DVDs which come with the SA suggest that the MindSpy is better for stage performance. Being much bigger, it's also better for carrying other items of equipment - such as the BIP book, which fits nicely. So I can still see uses for it, including some of the SA routines.

I have just received my Mind Spy wallet. It really isn't inconveniently large for a back pocket (or perhaps I have an unusually large rear section). Yes, it is slightly larger than a regular wallet, but the fact that it holds a very hand note pad seems to justify this.

The note pad section is also exactly the right size for 5x3 index cards.
