I noticed today a really interesting article in Nature, about neuroscience and magic and what one reveals about the other.
It's written by several magicians and some neurobiologists all working together to give insight into what magic can reveal about the human visual system and how we focus our attention.

I actually attended a lecture about this a while ago in Edinburgh where we were shown the 'vanishing ball' trick and the video with the gorilla (I didn't spot the gorilla..)
This is an area I find facinating. I did a search but couldn't find anything about this article being posted elsewhere. My apologies if this is a repeat topic.
