Hello There

Postby Matty Tricks » Aug 8th, '08, 22:19

Hello, community of TalkMagic. I'm Matt, also known as Matty Tricks, and I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada. I'm an aspiring magician who is just beginning to learn magic. And I truely mean just beginning to learn. I have had no training, read no books, nothing. I've just started to appreciate and love magic and I look to get into it full-time, so I figured, why not join such a splendid forum?

I hope to have a great time and learn loads here at TalkMagic.

Mark Wilson's complete course in magic is highly recommended.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I agree with Ian. Wilson's book is the second greatest way to get started in magic! (The best in my opinion is to get a magic set as a six-year-old for Christmas, but I guess you are a little too old for that one :D )
If you ever need help you are definitely going to find it here. Welcome, welcome!

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
