Anyone know how to do this?

Like in the word daemon. If you've seen it before, the a and the e kind of overlap each other, does anyone know how to do this. I'm just curious because I saw how to a while ago and I can't find it.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

æ

Hold the Alt key down and use the numberpad to type 0230

You can do all sorts of other symbols, too, if you go to Start > All programs > accessories > system tools > character map

When you highlight the symbol it gives you the numerical Alt shortcut in the bottom right corner of the window.

I can recommend a little program called Font Xplorer.

http://www.moonsoftware.com/fxplorer.asp

It's freeware now! I bought it years ago, and it was worth it then. It must be even more worth it now. A small, stable, and easy to use program.

Its main purpose is to let you manage and compare fonts, but it also has a character picker that's much better than the Windows character map tool.

Are you talking about from inside a particular program, though? I think you're talking about Microsoft Word, in which you can indeed just click on Insert > Symbol.

However, I explained how to do it universally, since when one is typing, one is not always typing in Word.
