Ok finally someone has invented invisiblity!!! yippppee

Check out page 23 Of the Sun newpaper...some chinese guys made some kind of invisibilty thingy...sounds coool for future effects if it ever got marketed for a good price!

Sounds fantastic, but there's just one thing I don't understand. If you're completely invisible you're also blind,
because light passes through you, or in this case bends around you, if that's so light will not end up in your eye resulting in sight,
if however light does reach your eye you'll be able to see, but you'll also be seen, because the light gets absorbed and reemitted by your eyes, therefore you won't be completely invisible.

If any of that even makes sense.

Yep but they cud make a sleeve like a gimmicd "hood" that us mentalists folk like to use sometimes- that allowd u to see thru but not see into, like a two way mirror......?

Not a bad idea.
I'm sure they could find a way to fix the sight problem.

Or just not make the eyes invisible, or your feet, and hands. and lips! Put a wig and a collar on that and you've got a winner!!

As has been pointed out the light is refracted around you, so you wouldn't be able to see without them leaving holes in the material. It sounds like they've only really managed to refract it a very minor amount so far from the times article so far. I'll hang on for the star trek transporter. That seems to be having more success.

Found another magic article in the the times as well.
