At the significant risk of being very self-indulgent and starting a whole thread about myself...
I won't be around as of 2pm tomorrow for 2 1/2 months. Not trying to elicit a melodramatic farewell, I just thought one or two of you (i.e. the Leeds lot) might think I'd dropped off the face of the earth when I stop responding to offers of saturday boozing!
As I've been accused in the past for banging on about my adventures (thanks, 'Dini
) I shall try to confine it to this thread: I am going on a medical elective, which means I'm going... yes, back to India 
To a state called Chhattisgarh, where I'll be working in a rural hospital. 50 beds, serving 200,000 people spread across 300 rural villages, so I think it's going to be interesting. Apparently there are lots of monkeys.
Nothing magic related other than the fact I'm taking a few decks, TTs, sponges and a chop cup with the hope of ascertaining myself as magical emperor
But I will miss you all and look forward to getting to the Leeds november meet-up when I get back.
