I don't think there's a DVD out there telling you that their effect would require a ex*****d s****. Even if this item is included in the DVD package, they would tell it would be a "gimmick."

Anyway, to answer your question, I'll support one of my homeland's talent...a cool magician named Homer Liwag. His "Coin One" DVD is really a feat and received great ratings even here on TM. You can order it here: http://www.homerliwag.com

You can also check the TM review here http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic16104.php

Do you just want some ideas using shells? If so, there are a couple of DVDs just on that subject. I haven't seen either of these, but there's the 'World's Greatest Magic Expanded Shell' DVD, which is a compilation taken from lots of other magic DVDs, and 'Shellraiser', which comes with a half dollar shell.

Perhaps if someone has viewed either of these, they could add their comments (assuming they don't want to do a full review). I know that the 'World's Greatest Magic' series usually gets good ratings, because the effects are taken from the repertoires of top performers.
