What do peeps think?

I do not think it will top the prestige, and it doesnt seem as centred on magic.

I think it looks good this is the first I heard about it. They could've picked someone better than Catherine Zeta Jones. :?

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Looks like it will be pretty good. Then again I am a big fan of Houdini. Any clues when this is supposed to be released in the states?

I'm looking forward to it. I think the premise is that Houdini is in the UK and challenges any mediums to prove their worth by correctly telling him what his mother's last words were? A fake medium and her daughter, living on the breadline, attempt to crack the puzzle and win the prize money.

Sounds good. Time will tell.

UK release date was 8/8/08 so i guess it's in the cinemas now. However the DVD realease date is 13th October, so I will probably wait for that. Don't get out much except to work these days! :(

from the trailer, id go as far as to say that they seem to have houdinis hair right. though the rest of the characterization is way off the mark.
to tall, to pretty, to posh.

for me the only Houdini that looks right, was the portrayal given by Harvey Keitel, in fairy tail. a true story.
