 I'm lost... I thought you just picked up the Banachek book?

Anywho, if you haven't the Banachek PSYCHOPHYSIOLGICAL THOUGHT READING is a must along side Vol. 3 of his PSI Series. Toss in the aforementioned Webster material (anything on Pendulum's actually) and then start digging!

You may also look up the following resources;

Practical Mindreading by William W. Atkinson

    Master Mentality by Carlisle Stanton

Entertaining with Contact Mind Reading by Edward S. Dexter

Contact Mindreading (and the Expanded text) by Daniel Fitzkee

Axel Hellstrom: Mindreader Extraordinary by Al Mann

    Hellstromism by Robert Nelson

    Hellstromism by S. Reilly

Making Contact by Satori (considered to be one of the most excellent of resources up till the release of the Banachek material)

Practical Contact Mindreading by Edward Schatz (this material is solid, I used it as a guide to my original demonstrations along with Eddie Joseph's INTUITIONAL SIGHT blindfold act)

I will add that Ron Martin has some information on Pendulum work and you will find a method of doing Readings using a Pendulum at MEVPROSHOP.com that is quite outstanding at both, the educational and applicability levels.

The only one source I'd steer you away from is the video produced by Blair Robertson/Stuart Cumberland... unless you can get it used for less than $20.00 it's simply not worth having in my opinion. It is exceptionally overpriced, poorly produced and from where I sit, contains little to no solid perspective when it comes to the "how to" and "routining" side of things. The Banachek video is a professional production with solid insights and far less trumpet blowing and it cost a hell of a lot less than the other.

Trickshop sells e-book versions of Fitzkee's Contact Mind Reading Expanded, and also Hellstromism (R Nelson) at a very good price.

Normally US $8.95 each, but they have a sale on and you can get both for US $12.95. Instant download as soon as you pay.

Well I thought since people kept mentioning Banachek's books and Magic Chris is concerned that so many books are out of print, that it was appropriate to bring up. Im sure he'd be interested to know that it'll be available again.

But sorry, im not familiar with the magic shops, who's Steve?
And does that mean they'll have a few copies or that it will become generally available again?

Oooh. Sorry i thought Steve was a bookseller and he was saying that he'll be stocking the book soon. I see now he meant that Steve Shaw will be putting the book out.

That particular book by Steven Shaw/Banachek has nothing to do with Muscle Reading/Ideomotor Response, it's about psychological "forces" or working commonalities.

I'm not picking on my MagicBell, just trying to steer you in the right direction with things.

Chris... I've found that the "old" books are where you'll find the cool little nuggets of information you won't find in most of the newer books... there's a handful of old farts around here that will certainly support that idea...

Many of those books can still be found, you just need to know where to look for them. Lybray.com is one source, Hades Publications in Canada is another and you may try this place (tell Scott I sent you) http://www.byronwalkermagicbooks.com/mental.html
