Struck me as really strange.

I can't pick up on myself doing it, when I think about it I can't recall if I do so or not.

What I'm going on about is, do you read replies to a thread, reviews, comments etc. In a different voice in your head for each person?

I think I do this with books, but like I said if I start to think about it I can't recall if I do so or not. :?

Just wondering if this struck anyone as strange, or if you've thought about it before.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

I tend to make all villains in my books speak with an English accent (because of the revolutionary war! - thank you Eddie Izzard) :D

But yes, I do read many things with different voices.

Just note though when you hear me "talk", its all sultry and husky o.k?

I think it is part of our design to make inanimate objects into a living thing. (just look what we do to cars, Come on bessie lol) I imagine its the same thing with computers just like it is with books.

I've never done this with a forum.

When I worked as proofreader for a local newspaper, every month we had to run enormously long and boring articles about council meetings and (even worse) meetings of the local water board. THESE I always read to myself in funny voices -- usually Monty Python voices -- just to stay focused. Or even awake.

You don't know what boredom is until you've spent the morning proofreading a petty political debate on water and sewage works.

I can say with total honesty and conviction... no. You are clearly insane.

Yes! Well.. I saw a video of craig talking, so know I know how his voice sounds. But yes, many members of the forum. Michael Jay sounds like Max Maven with a fairly strong New York accent.
I have a lot of voices on these forums.

I haven't heard Craig's voice yet but I always imagine him speaking with a deep, raspy voice like Eugene Burger.
