Anyone baught this yet? Preview video looks very interesting.

Looks like multiple cap in bottle effects.

I haven't got it yet - but after viewing the video on that link you posted....I couldn't resist.

Im hoping the fact that it's only £12.99 means it isn't gonna be a c*** (not the best) gimmick. But then again, you can pick up an ID for about a fiver, and that's one of the best gaf decks available.

In fact i don't even know why im moaning that it's so cheap. Judging by how clean the effect looks on the video - I probably would have paid over £25 for it.

As soon as my Aquarius arrives over the weekend, I shall post a review for it. Unless of course it turns out to be rubbish, and then i'll be too brassed off to bother. Fingers crossed

Hey Tyler - yes, it goes look incredible. Especially the first version and the last version where the cap just floats up. I read on other forums that some of the best versions are not even shown on the demo. There is a variety of gimmicked and impromptu versions so something for everyone. Please do let me know your thoughts once it arrives.

Cap in Bottle by the Enchantment available everywhere I think.
It is not spur of the moment impromptu but can be done impromptu. Someone can’t hand you the bottle and you immediately do it is the main thing.
Anyone concerned about practicality will be happy with their purchase. Some things are more practical and some things less, but most things are fine for the real world.
There is much more in this than what you see in the demo. Actually the two versions I like the best aren’t on the demo. There are a bunch of videos on the forum that are so cool and everything is extremely visual. The instructions are nicely done but trust me, when you see all the videos at the forum you’ll be amazed at how good this is.
I think there’s something for everyone here. You get some impromptu methods, some basically self-working methods, and also some methods for effects that will blow anyone’s mind. Its also a really low price. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.
For people wondering how clean it is, depends what you want to do because there’s more ways than one. Some of them you end totally clean. Some you holdout. Some it doesn’t matter because of other reasons. When it looks exactly like real magic it becomes less of an issue.
On the negative side there are three different methods that you can pick for the set-up. I don’t like one of them and doubt I'll use it. The set-up fastest prep. will take 6.5 secs, ok maybe 7, and you can set the bottle out in full view and do it whenever. I don't see anyone not finding something they like in this. There’s enough in it that you can skip the stuff you don’t like and do what you do. You’ll also learn enough techniques that make it so you can come up with your own ideas. I wish he’d tell you in the instructions what versions he uses in the demo. He tells you what versions he used and demonstrates all you could want at the forum, but he combines things in the demo and because there’s a lot of different versions in the instructions its not obvious which methods are used.
If you get it, (I don’t think this exposes anything) the first clip is Bottle Kaps going directly to Additional note, the next is Subzero and Sublime, and the last is Submarine and he uses a gimmick explained in the book which I knew anyway, but you don’t need it.
Overall I think this takes object in bottle tricks to a new level. Its a great price, great thinking, and an amazing effect, probably one of the best looking tricks I’ve seen, with something for literally everyone. I’m a big fan of Dreamweaver and use it all the time. I know I’ll be using Aquarius a lot too. Highly recommended.

Hi, yeah i did receive this last weekend. I just hadn't got round to reviewing it yet.

AQUARIUS, by The Enchantment - £12.99 (Magicbox.com) I hear it can be found cheaper elsewhere though.

EFFECT - A cap is removed from a glass or plastic bottle, and then visually penetrates the bottle, only to be found permanently stuck inside. There are several methods of making this illusion happen. You can use an empty or full bottle. The bottle can then be given away as a nice souvenir of what they just witnessed.

DIFFICULTY - 2 out f 5 (1 point for the prep, and another for the performance bit)

WHAT YOU GET - A very thorough, and descriptive colour booklet with good photographic visual aids and all the required equipment you'll need

REVIEW - Ok, bad news first.....thankfully it's only one minor point. The best versions of the cap penetration cannot be done impromptu. They will require a little preperation. But its worth the effort. For example: think of effects like "Refraction" (it has a small amount of prep time - but the impact of what the illusion acheives makes it all OK in the end)

Now for the good news, the effect looks very cool indeed! Don't be put off by the fact you can't walk up to someone drinking from a bottle then just go straight into the trick. It doesn't matter. The impromptu thing doesn't seem to be an issue with Aquarius. The visual impact of the actual illusion is far more captivating for the audience at the time....and besides, when you leave them with the bottle to keep, it draws away most psychological doubts they may have, E.G: "It can't be a trick bottle if he let me keep it"

I have performed each version of this since receiving it and once you know the principle behing the trick - you will be luving how versatle it is for these kinds of visual penetration effects.

I spent sometime in a bar in town last weekend performing card effects whilst periodically taking a swig from my water bottle between tricks. It's thirsty work this magic lark....and when the opportunity arose. Namley someone asking for my business card....I unscrewed the cap, slammed it against the bottom of the bottle everyone had just seen me drinking from......and signed my number on the side of it instead. It made a very cool business contact item for the spectator - and no doubt he will be talking about that more frequently than if i'd just handed him a card with my details on.

SUMMARY - You can't go wrong with this effect. Both on price, and for the visual impact you get with something as everyday as a bottle. I know it isn't completely 100% impromptu, but who cares....this effect looks amazing. Check out the video on "The Enchantments" website if you need convincing. All in all.....i'd give Aquarius a good 8.5 out of 10. Great trick indeed, and a reputation maker as well
