Hello all, I am having to start a new thread as the thread that I want to comment on has been locked. I am the real Matthew Young and my friend Freddie Wilkinson recently informed me that something had been said about me on the this site. Thank you to 'dream2reality' for your kind words.
I don't know if this is one of my friends messing around or something but believe me it makes me sick to think that you lot reckon that its actually me and that I would so shamelessly promote myself on this site (or anywhere for that matter)!!!!! I don't even like that video and Im planning on getting a new one done. I wish I had smiled a bit more on that video and I plan on putting together some videos of actual performances in the future, which I would appreciate critical feedback on.
As said (on the original thread); why would I try to promote myself on a magic forum for goodness sake?? It makes no sense at all!
Maybe its someone from talentainer.com or something??? Beats me but please don't be so quick to cast blame on the innocent party (me!), it is not my fault if someone likes my work- afterall shouldn't that be a good thing? Unfortunatley there are a lot of self obsessed magicians out there and as someone who is acutely aware of this problem, I strive hard not to fall into that trap. Nobody likes a showoff!

Its a shame to have to introduce myself in this way (my first post) but even at 2am I wanted to clear up the matter as I am not a self obsessed git, and I didn't want to get any evil eyes at the next magic convention or anything!

I don't think that many people actually thought that it was you that was posting and instead thought that you had attracted a young female fanatic. We've had a few others on TM in the past the fit that category.

Also interesting is that you have the username Matthew. It's unusual online to get your name. Normally you have to add '8962' or some other randomness to it.

I have no idea why you sent me a PM entitled "FYI", Matthew, which directed me to this thread... This situation has nothing to do with me. Did I make a comment or something in the locked topic? If so, I can't remember it. Oh well, welcome to TM anyhooo.

Yeah, I got the "direct mail" too. I think I may have posted something sarcky on the original thread. I figure it was talenttainer.com (or whatever they're called) that started the original thread. Poor Matthew was just the innocent pawn in their evil plan to conquer the world of light entertainment.
