A new weekend is almost upon us so I'll start the posting (sorry fairie if you wanted to start it)

I'm going to be one of those people that sells water at sports games. :D

On sunday maybe a party but who knows, I also have a chance to win forty dollars, or twenty pounds, in magic.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

My weekend consists of a quiet night in tonight, a wedding booking tomorrow, then sunday im going away for a couple of days to Lincolnshire.

As well as that, I will be pushing for more votes on the talent search, and ill be working on some new scripts and a couple of new routines in any dead time I have.

Sleep for the most part. I've now worked 16 days in a row averaging about 10 hrs a day. Thankfully Monday is labour day here so I have a long weekend, and I took Tuesday off. The only really exciting thing I actually have planned is the first really rednecked thing I've done since moving to this one horse redneck town. I have to remove some bushes and plant new ones. Rather then try to dig out the old ones and spend hours trying to pry the trunks out of the ground I plan on wrapping one end of the chain around the bushes and the other to my car and just pulling them out. Chances are I'll have to get a new car next week

I wrote solidly last weekend including interviewing someone on Saturday afternoon and pulling an all-nighter to get something done on Sunday. I did have Saturday night off, however, and went round to a friend's house to watch "Abigail's Party" over Chinese food and far too much red wine.

After a busy week, I'm staying in tonight (with lots of red wine) then it's the Manchester Meet tomorrow. Hurrah!

Chilling out this weekend

Just got back from three days in Bournemouth. Travelled on Wednesday, spent the best part of 12 hours in the pub on Thursday with some great friends and spent today watching the air tattoo which was fantastic.

Got home around 9pm this evening.

Working. As usual. Just getting over a miserable bout of fluey yuckiness, so I've got some catching up to do.

To be precise, I'll be slaving over the Christmas issue of Puzzler Kriss Kross in order to be able to post it back to the editor on Monday morning. So you lot had better go out and buy it.

In the coming week, I've also got the Christmas issues of Puzzler, Puzzler Code Words, and Q Word Search to get through, if I recall. Not feeling particularly festive, either. Maybe I should stick a CD of Christmas carols on to get in the mood.

On the bright side, my glasses have been mended, so I'll also be able to watch TV and see what I'm looking at.

Sat in the office and have been since 7.30

Have a big furniture installation and need to be here as its my project!

Same again tomorrow, although the morning has been busy I now have the afternoon to sit on the lap top, watch DVDs, read a book or play with cards and all at overtime rate!

I've been slacking off the past few days, so (again) working hard over the weekend.

I have my Royal Road and hope to finish working through Chapter One over the weekend, as well.

And we have to make time for computer games. Nothing more important than that.

My friend Rachel and I are holding a dinner party for some mutual friends tonight. Little do they know, we're doing kids party food - jelly and ice cream, paste sandwiches, etc. It's going to be a right laugh!

I miss parties with sausages and cheese on cocktail sticks. Food tastes better once its been skewered onto a cocktail stick.

Ain't that the truth. Hopefully, however, it'll end in a seance.
