Banding Around by Russell Leeds

Yes, I know this is not available until October, but I was wondering how it compares to Nabil Murday's Link DVD. So the first person to receive it from World Magic Shop, has to post a review!

I haven't seen Link, but there's some seriously good stuff on Banding Around.

The effects themselves are great, some nice lateral thinking has gone into the routining, and it's very thoroughly taught.

Oh, and the camera work, video production and DVD authoring are masterful!

theres talk of a gimick too, anything you can say on that apart from the classic gimick he uses in the video which every one already has in there kit.
bands and coins got to be a good combination, liked the promo vid.

If you've got coins and bands about your person, then most of the stuff on the DVD can be treated as impromptu. Once you get playing with the sleights and techniques, you can go all freeform and jazzy if you like. A couple of the routines require some preparation of gimmicks, but it's all easy, inexpensive, DIY stuff if I remember rightly.

Banding Around is going to be great.

I was lucky enough to be at the shoot and I have also seen the material performed to real people. It KILLS each and every time.

Russ is so creative - I am sure this is just the tip of the iceberg for this exciting young talent.

By the way - there is no gimmick used in any of the footage used in the trailer - nothing at all. 99% of the stuff is totally impromptu.

Really commercial
