Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Waddingtons are very nice cards. I don't use them anymore, but I seem to remember they handled as well as Bicycles.

The shop Anything Left-Handed sells "left-handed" cards:
http://www.anythingleft-handed.co.uk/acatalog/playing_cards.html

They're great for all sorts of lefty stuff, including things you never knew existed, and also lots of advice about "leftitude". I use my lefty ruler from there all the time!

I just bought a couple packs of Bicylces that have numbers on all four corners. They're called "Bicycle Poker Peek" cards. Check out http://www.magicproshop.com/cards-bicyc ... 10240.html to see what they look like. I bought mine from a local department store. The other nice feature of these cards is that they have a slightly beveled edge, which eases shuffling. I also think that the backs look more elogant than the normal Bicycle decks. My only complaint is that the front of the cards dont't have the normal Bicycle look. They have the same quality of regular bikes.

I don't like the look. It looks very new age and 'modern'. Get with the cool new 'skateboarding and extreme bmxing' culture of todays youths.

A little.

Though it's good for those who want to be able to use the opposite corners. I imagine the name comes from the way poker players lift up the card ever so slightly to get a 'peek' of what cards they are.
Whoo, am I insightful!

Where's my reward

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

:?

I don't think that's strong enough.

Anyway, if it is, you've gone and shown him instead of telling me in private so I can hide it from him!

Even if I edited my own post, it's now been immortalised by you quoting me!

Back on topic, does anyone else have these cards, or has seen them or have an opinion? I've not seen them on any of the magic shops I've looked at, though I'm sure some of them could source a pack if you really wanted them.

Am I the only weird one who despite being right handed actually does most card stuff left handed? 15 or so years ago when I first read royal road I was convinced there were mistakes in it telling me to do things with the wrong hand.
Anyhow I do most card stuff (which I rarely do as I'm of the opinion that there is no place for cards in mentalism)with bikes with indexes on each corner which I've picked up from the card collection.
It should be noted that this message is being written under the influence of Raki so I hope it makes sense.
