With Name a Card Triumph,I've pretty much nailed the first handling and the second is coming on nicely, but the third? Ouch.

Just thought I'd add, although I learned and almost mastered the Name a Card Triumph, it is a weak effect. Ortiz talks about it in Strong Magic and after giving a lot of thought, he's right.

After giving it a lot of thought I've decided that Ortiz isn't as clever as a lot of people think. I should have realised this after seeing what he did to Jazz Aces but it took me quite a bit longer.

Name A Card Triumph is a great trick. Good enough that other people have tried to rip it off. And CotT is indeed a great book. Funny thing: I've had far more mileage out of Fetch! than anything else in it. It's great fun.

It is a fabulous trick if you're performing for Magicians. Which really, if you call yourself a Magician, shouldn't be your primary stay of work.
