Factory Sealed is highly recommended

Postby claesmagic » Sep 14th, '08, 19:00

I just got the Factory Sealed DVD in my hands and I sure am going to use it regularly in my show! The setup, the handling and the variations are so easy! I really do recommend this particular effect, as I am very picky when it comes to doing CIB-routines. Ellusionist.com even has the effect as an "Instant Download" if you don't want to buy the DVD version.

There's clips of Dynamo on You Tube from Estate of The Mind where he slams a coin through a glass bottle from the bottom. Dunno what it's called but it looks mighty impressive. There's also a clip where he manages to get the label of a beer bottle inside, as if by magic! I too don't use coin magic or penetrations in magic, but in a bar situation it'd be awesome to do that with a bottle.

I'd recommend prohibition. It's impromptu, very angle friendly, visual, you end clean and can hand it out for inspection right after the penetration.
It uses the bottle cap instead of a coin, however you do require a special gimmick which isn't included, but I don't want to give too much away.
