Hello Michael and welcome back.

I think it's an honor to have a Parade Walker from The Linking Ring with us here in TM. For those that don't know, last year's June issue featured Michael as guest artist in the One Man Parade.

Hope you are doing good!

With warm greetings from Iceland,

Welcome back Michael, so do you believe Tarot is real? Also, what's your opinion of Hypnosis' role in magik? and finally, do cards have a place in mentalism?

Thank you! I do not know enough about Tarot to give a good answer. I think hypnosis and the power of suggestion are very useful tools in the arsenal of a MENTALIST. It's hard to work magic and hypnosis together.

And finally, card, in my opinion, have a huge place in mentalism. Mentalism isn't strictly limited to any specific prop, and cards just so happen to be one of the more explored props in mentalism.

Bobbycat. You must remember the boy is Canadian. They do not understand humour and in fact have no sense of it.

 i thought it was a question too.
mike since we last spoke did you have a epiphany / reality check or was it just age and experience thats given you a change of heart.
i belive your previose attitude was because your talent which was never in question in my mind was overshadowed by your overwelming belive in yourself and like a fellow magician of fame who belives he can fly and likes to cut himself in half a lot, belived his own press, which is a mistake nay right of passage all magicians who get fame have to go through.
glad to see you came through it and have not been permanantly scarred by it, it won't stop you getting fame and fortune but it will make you hard to work with and not muched liked.

Thank you so much for such great advice!

It was actually a mixture of the two possibilities that made me change since we last spoke. I've been thinking a lot about myself, my magic, and my technique.

Don't worry about it Michael, it's all part of growing up! I knew you'd feel differently a few years on from when you were last posting at TM. Good to have you back!
