Coinvexed

Coinvexed is not the so called 10/10 sorry "David Penn".

* Reason is it leaves a mark on the coin not good ?--- perhaps there is a way to justify this and if you bend the coin holding the gimmick upside down the s***s are more rounded that solves the problem, try filing is very difficult because its made of hard steel ???. unless someone can come up with some kind of method ?

Magi's lets face it when a spectator looks at the bend coin they must see there was no mechanical force on it, Whow ! this was really done with the mind !!!.
So Magi's whats your say and lets get real.

There are clever people out there lets not be fooled.

I rate it 7.5/10 sorry "David" perhaps you can give us some food for thought. :?

But perhaps its still the best coin bender concept on the magic market so I would still place it on my wishing list !

Why did he name deserve quotations there?
I'm just chiming in so I can keep an eye on this for when Mr Penn comes alone and rightly defends himself.

Coinvexed

Postby Magico » Sep 23rd, '08, 10:33

!I love Coinvexed!!!

Did my first act today at work voila !!! worked miracles and I stunned them.!!!

But I do have a concern ,one of the guys asked to look at the coin and spotted the long mark on the coin and he immediately said the coin must' off been bent in a vice some how before ,but they could not understand because the coin was signed before them.
Otherwise all went well!.

The bent was very subtle and clean except for the mark ? so I'm wondering can the gimmick be filed in the inner s**t to give a rounder edge ?.

Whats the best solution to that ?
I know what you thinking I must create a better perfect bend, but the gimmick has a sharp edge??.

I also found if you do the bent slowly it does help a little so thats a good start, unless my gimmick is factory fault ? LOL

If the gimmick is leaving marks then it probably can be gently filed away to minimise the marking but if it leaves a very bad mark then you ought to check with your supplier to see if they will exchange it for another one.

The only time I have ever left a mark is when I slipped with the gimmick and the coin slid out - apart from that I have probably bent about £10 worth of the Queens finest silver and never had any problems and have never been caught.

If they suspect it is not the power of your mind then maybe you need to work on your presentation skills!

No, I saw it demoed before it was released and realised that it was a super effect but not something I'd use in practice so haven't bought it. Yet!

Totally Mental

My Presentation is Hot and just too Cool !!!

Very well planned out with no rush ,and very well convincing just i find the gimmicks lower s***s not curved enough and does leave a mark on the coins which at times can be a bit annoying ?

So far i was never caught out and love the effect, but with sincerity the gimmick is not well engineered and i bet you after this David will put some thought in this and perhaps in the late future there will be some redesign you just mark my words !

I am not putting Coinvexed down its one of my best tricks and if i must loose the gimmick i will buy it again so theres it.

Perhaps i need to redesign it LOL  or make my own ?

Buy the way if you say you dont leave marks on your coin i am not convinced, because then mine is a factory fault.

Also i work in an engineering company and people are not fools !
The most amusing is after i done this piece of magic at work the guys came out with pliers trying to duplicate the trick to see how i could of bent the coin but still they were all dumb struck !!!!! OK well done "David".

Just imagine if there were no marks on the coin every time so to speak it will be more stronger.

Buy the way people think i,m involved with the Devil (Satan) because of my wonders in magic .
But sadly for them i,m a Christian believer in GOD !

Presumably you're using Euro coins, do we have any other Euro area members who have had similar experiences?

But you said you only started performing this at 10.30??? At 8.51am you said that it was rubbish and was overrated.

Make your mind up......

I'm sure Mr. Penn would disagree ;)

But seriously, like Mental said, if they're studying the coin for marks, then you've not done a very good job

David Penn doesn't actually make the items  , they're all subcontracted to specialists and as such there's bound to be the odd one which is less than perfect. If it's a serious issue then get the supplier to replace it. No big problem.
