New levitation idea - could use a bit of help

Postby Beardy » Jul 17th, '07, 21:23

Hey guys, just had a brainwave. Basically, of a new levitation which may be possible to do.

What I do need though, is a bit of help, as it would be dabbling in an area of which I am not expert in.

Basically, I need someone who is good with DIY. I will need to gimmick a pair of shoes for this. No, I;m not asking you to gimmick a pair for me, in fact, odds are you wont have to do any work at all. What I really need is someone to basically tell me whether or not my idea has a possibility of working in reality, with maybe a few tweaks here and there.

It works in theory, but I aint all that clever when it comes to shoes ;)

So anybody here who is good with DIY, maybe a bit of maths/physics to do with angles e.t.c (basically - maths based and angles would be lovely :D) could you give me a buzz?

Cheers!

Love

Chris

yup

basically, this idea I know has not been done before. This would allow you to levitate "Jesus" style - that is, with your arms raised up above your head, eyes shut, with "Halleluhia" playing in the background, whilst facing the audience

Furthermore, there are know stairs nearby, the levitation would be entirely self-contained, and could be done in an empty field, so to speak. Though not surrounded.

:D

A simple, even more stunning solution to levitation is this one.

(Deleted by Mods - as are the other 4 adverts for this same system)

It is by far the most practical, awe inspiring stage illusion of levitation rising upwards, and, yet, can be performed at house parties.

I use it all of the time, and it's truly amazing!

There is a video on the website

Yikes! Trickstar's making dead threads come to life all over the place. It's like Dawn of the Dead. Except with levitation.

What was that link again?

Imagine, the performer walking to the center of an empty stage, foyer or any open area. He is effortlessly carrying a satin sheet.
Yup, those darned satin sheets are really, really dreadfully heavy at times....I just have to spend $995 (plus $45 shipping, in Continental U.S. only) to know all about this - not.
