Some Photography

Postby Lenoir » Sep 28th, '08, 18:17

Hey all, just recently was looking through some of my photography stuff for college and thought I would put it up on deviantART. My unit this year has been macro so few will be nice and close up!

None of them are for sale or print(not that you would want to) so this surely can't be counted as advertising!

Anyway, heres the link, some feedback/criticism would be great!

I thought that the composition of your photo's was very good indeed, particularly the Egyptian Guide which was also perfectly exposed.

Good work!

Those are good, I quite like the Guide one.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Nice work.

Do you happen to know which sign language they were using at the school for the Deaf there?

(on a separate note, Deaf is usually capitalized when talking about Deaf people or culture and only lowercase if speaking about the medical condition)

Sorry Mage, I don't know! I do know however, that somebody in our group who studies sign language said it was definately very different to whatever is taught here in the UK. After an hour or two, the headteacher and her were communicating perfectly, just some minor adjustments apparently!

Cheers, I'll change the capital "D"

Hm, now I'm really curious since BSL educational systems was reasonably proprietary in its early days and differs pretty drastically from FSL, and ASL which is based on FSL.

Anyway, great work on the photos, near professional quality - you've got a good eye.

perhaps you already aware of the site but i did a bit of graphic design and used istockphoto where you can upload your images and people can buy them and you get some cash.

think theyre all royalty free though and some people could have a problem with that.

just an idea

Thanks! Means a lot!

And Relish, I was aware of istock but to be honest thought that only the top photographers used it. I will certainly look into it!
