Melon under hat

Postby alwayslean » Oct 6th, '08, 03:29

I recently saw a cups routine on Londons south bank, where the finale was a melon appearing under the hat. Can anyone give ideas for how this is done. I Do not think this would be "giving too much away". Since cups depend on skill even if you know how its done it would be extremely difficult. I am still struggling with oranges, but I am very curious about the melon technique.

Hi, welcome to TM, if your hear to stay not just fishing for this trick, introduce yourself in the Introduction section.

We don't reveal magic here on TM. You'll get a big "NO" on here.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Thanks. :) if you want to split hairs, i expect Noha's final load was a lump of elephant poo!

the thing is, its someone elses intelectual property, and we cant, and wont discuss methods on this, or any other Decent forum.
however the method used is published, and the information we have given here will guide the original poster.

that said, i tell you what.

I bet its put there when your not looking.

Gazzo probably explains it in his Cups and Balls DVD.

I suggest you ask the chap who performed it. See how he feels about it.

Thanks, it was Gazzos. The bloke on south bank was even doing the same jokes. He probably bought the DVD, but I'm not going to fork out 50 dollars for a 2000 year old explanation. Having watched it a few times on youtube its pretty obvious where he loads the melon. But knowing how its done and doing it are two very different things.

Indeed they are. That's why you should buy the blessed dvd and get all the cold hard facts instead of trying to reverse engineer it. Plus, it'll be fun.
