There Will Be Blood

Wow. Still trying to formulate some kind of coherent comment or opinion about this film. It's totally gripping, the music is practically alive, Daniel Day Lewis puts in an absorbing, evolving, humdinger of a turn as the central character who is almost never out of frame... and yet despite the uneasiness and seriousness of the subject, you leave smiling...

Go and see it! (P.S. it's long!)

 I'd love it if these were Rick Rolls, but I want to share these videos too much.

Rick Astley was on Radio 2 the other day (with Emma Forbes... childhood crushes, anyone? ), and he seems fairly bemused by the phenomenon.

As it's already shown more longevity than his actual singing career, I'd imagine Rick Astley is ecstatic about this awful phenomenon.

I thought the acting in this was amazing but it was to long. "I drink your milkshake, I drink it up."

(I know it's an old thread.)

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.
