it was either air wolf,

or blue thunder.

or chopper squad.

Chopper Squad (1975) - derivative Australian TV action show about the exploits of a coastal rescue helicopter pilot and his flight crew. Routine small screen fodder, that's all but forgotten today. The chopper was a Bell 206 JetRanger.

Glad somebody else remembers Hardcastle and McCormick.... loved that show. It also had the best theme tune from any 80's show... not to mention the 'Coyote' car!! For theme tune proof see:

Oh, I love the Wiggles! Don't get to watch them very much, though. At the moment I think they're on opposite Countdown, and Col won't let anything interrupt his Countdown.

Manimal is on Sci-Fi or another niche satellite channel in the afternoons. I never watched it myself, but I remember the title from way back.

When I was about 10 I raved over The Invisible Man. Thought it was the best show EVER. Heartbroken when it was cancelled. Sci-Fi started running it a year or so ago -- watched half the first episode and thought, "God, what utter rubbish." I must have had no taste whatsoever when I was 10.

Most of my when-I-was-small TV memories are the normal after-school viewing in the US: Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, Leave It to Beaver, pretty much every Looney Tunes cartoon ever made. We also had a local Saturday morning show with Corky the Clown and various puppets that I still remember fondly. (Corky's Colorama -- which shows you how far back it goes, that they boasted of being in colour.)

"Magic teaches us how to lie without guilt." --Eugene Burger
"Hi, Robbie!" "May your mischief be spread." --Derren Brown

Anyone remember Cosmo and Dibbs? I seem to recall they had a very excellent reggae theme tune.
