My last post seem to dissappear? here goes again !

Hi All !

my name is Pat Shelley and I am 33, living in Bournmouth as a taxi driver. I get plenty of chances to practise on the public - sober and not sober! I have loved magic since I was a child but never really bothered with it. That is until I saw Blaine on TV 6 years ago, which really kick started me again. I particularly enjoy card magic, but am still intersested in other types - mostly just knock-your-socks-off close-up. U have a great site here, and I hope to meet new friends from it.

a mate of mine is building a website where you can perform online! You can send in your videos, others can view them and rate them! There will be a league table, so I guess its gonna be really competitive. He needs to build a fairly big database of videos to test a video upload module that he has written - it automates the upload process. Can a few kind members email him small vid files of them performing their favourite tricks, so he can manually upload them and test it? I uploaded "ball thru hand" and he has got about 4 more, but it needs building and testing with bigger numbers. email videos to -

videos@magicshowcase.co.uk

the sites address is www.magic-showcase.co.uk

Many Thanks People !

Welcome.

The website sounds interesting. I'm far too shy to send in a video, but it's a nice idea.

Hope you enjoy the forum.

just a little note m8 make sure your opening page states that slagging matches will not be entertained otherwise your site may go the way of magicbunny (for shame).

sounds like a great idea can you be a bit more specific on file sizes and types ie avi's or mpgs, as i used to do vids in ati avi format but found no one could play them so now i do them in mpg. :)
