Here is a magic present for all those looking for a holiday themed magic/mental routine. If the mods don't like this being out in this area feel free to move it. (Although I don't think there's a need).
I'd like to try something with this audience. Since it's the holidays why not do a slightly holiday-ish thing. I'd like someone who thinks themselves very unique to join me on stage.
You sir/madame come on up. What's your name etc. etc. Here is a piece of paper. I'd like you to fold it top to bottom, than left to right so you have one square. (Hand them a pair of scissors) I'd like you to cut your paper but don't think about it as you do this.
(Whilst they are cutting you start cutting one also and making small talk or whatever it is you do)
Now I'm going to take yours and mine and put them in this bag. (Of course you have a paper bag in your pocket)

Explain that what you just cut up was a snowflake. No two snowflakes are the same. Wouldn't it be weird though if they were though....
(Rip open the bag and show there were only those two snowflakes and as they're unfold they match perfectly)
All you need is paper, scissors, a brown bag, and your trusty copy of Mark Wilson's of course.
I've misplaced my book so I can't give an exact page but it's the one with the brown bag. I believe it's in the back in the illusions section. If you can't figure the rest out from there than PM me but you should have no trouble.
