Jeff McBride and Eugene Burgers Magic and mystery school

Postby MaxBeat » Nov 3rd, '08, 15:14

Hey guys!

I have been interested of Jeff McBride and Eugene Burgers "Magic and mystery school" in Vegas for a while now and recently decided to go there! Im planing to go to the Master Class in march.

But before I go it would be nice to here from someone who's been there!? Is there anyone here who can tell me of there experience there or maybe just things you've heard?

Do you guys think this is a good way to go if you want to become a professional magician?

Tnx!

I've read the magic school book and it was heavy reading in parts.

It depends what you want to get out of the experience as much of what magic school is about is the performing arts side of magic and not about learning new sleight of hand techniques etc, alkthough there may be a little of this spread throughout. That's the impression that I got from the book and I anticipate that you would need to have some magical ability already in order to get the most out of the school.

I'd say that it's not for a beginner and if this is where your magic is at then you may be better off taking lessons with a magician.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
