How Do You Like Your Women?!

Postby Sophie » Nov 14th, '08, 11:47

Im a down to earth sort of girl, like to wear jeans and t shirts most of the time. I dont wear much make up and I guess you could say im a bit ordinary.
The thing is...I bought these really posh fingernails the other day, purple with sparkles on them. Just for fun really, but my mate thinks that men dont like that kind of thing, that thet like their women natural...which I am, apart from the nails!! So how do you like your woman, natural or dont mind if she looks a bit air brushed?

Just Wondering  Sophs. x

I like mine without their heads glued to a stuffed dog.

Natural, i've got a thing about nails being ripped off fingers. It's just not right.

My ex works for Dior, so she was always tanned, perfect hair, perfect make up etc. It was nice to see her dressed up, but I cant do with it constantly, I prefer the natural look, but Ithink a little bit of effort doesnt hurt!

I prefer the natural look. Obviously it's nice to see women wearing make-up once in a while or for special occasions, but I think it's a bad idea to wear it all the time. Here's why...

One of my colleagues wears make-up every day and she slaps it on nice and thick, too. In fact, I have rarely seen her without make-up on. One day, she came in with no make-up on and I thought Halloween had come early because she looked horrific. I fully expected her to shout "trick or treat". Now, don't get me wrong; she is not ugly by any stretch of the imagination, but because we were so used to seeing her fully made up, it was a shock to see her with nothing on, so to speak. She really did look ill.

Conversely, if she been the type never to wear make-up then we would all have been used to seeing her in her natural state. Then, if she were to one day turn up with make-up on, then no doubt we would all have thought she looked beautiful. In fact, another friend of mine wears very little make-up, and some days wears none, and she looks fine. But when she puts make-up on, she is a real head-turner. (And I've told her that, too, because I am an incurable flirt).

And that is why I think this particular option is far preferable (for all concerned) to the Halloween scenario.

(Sorry for the lecture; I got a bit carried away as I was discussing this very topic with my wife the other day. She agrees with me, by the way).

Becareful with those nails and what you use to stick them on with. I've had them totally ruin the real nails underneath before so never wear them anymore.

Heavy make up is not necessarily the evil of society, but heavy foundation in particular is. I have a penchant to lick my friends' foreheads as a greeting when I'm incredibly intoxicated. I did this once on a friend and I'm pretty sure it turned my tongue white.

With a pulse is a bonus.

Some make-up is good, but as they say - less is more.

(I am not sure who "they" is, but "they" seem to say rather a lot!)
