And the very best of luck! If you succeed (and I'm sure you will) you'll be inundated with orders 'cos those sun & moon backs give me headaches. I know we can hide them a bit and it works to a certain extent but a Bike Mindpower Deck would certainly remove a couple of unnecessary worries when using it. Let us know how you get on and, if it all goes pear shaped, which asylum you're in so we can all book visits.

There's a DVD called The Art of Card Splitting which, given the name, you'd rather hope covered the art of card spiltting (I've seen it advertised at £14 and £22). And there's a free guide here http://www.wowbound.com/split.html

I've done a fair bit of practice splitting dry cards and the key is to ignore what the "Likkity Split" book says! I don't have the DVD, so maybe that's better, but but the layer you are trying to remove flat on the table and peel off the other two layers, not the other way round.

Incidentally, Bikes are made in three parts. Face, middle layer, backs. I don't know about the Mindpower Deck's construction. You might end up with cards which are too thick or too thin, but at least you have some spare cards to try with.
